We all know that no outfit is complete without a perfect tan to go with it! So why wouldn't you tan for your wedding day?
A Bridal Tan is different from a standard spray tan.
It's not just a case of getting a spray tan like you would for any other occasion. It's a personal service to you and there's so many things to be considered!
Sam is the first and only Spray Tan Artist in Lanarkshire & Glasgow, to use a Clear Solution. This is created with Brides in mind, who wish to eliminate the risk of guide colour transfer.
This solution sprays on clear and you will see your tan develop gradually over the next 8 hours, with it being fully developed and settled into your skin 24hrs later - so no instant tan line after your appointment, but 100% guarantee of no stains on your bed-sheets or your dress!!
Having been a Wedding Coordinator, Sam knows exactly just how much you have to think about with planning your wedding, without worrying about how to achieve that perfect look for your big day.
Sam will ensure you look fabulous and feel confident for your big day, with some added reassurance and last-minute advice, so don't stress, take off some of the pressure and leave it to the professional!

BRIDAL TRIAL
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
You wouldn’t skip a dress fitting or a makeup trial, so why would you book your bridal tan without trials?
The clear tan isn't for everyone, so it's important to try it to be sure that it's for YOU!
Not only is your tan trial essential to see how your final colour will look, it also gives your make up artist a great insight on the final colour of your complexion for your makeup trial. So it's best to book these 2-3 days apart, like you would for your Wedding day.
It's advised to book at least one-two tanning trials to ensure you are happy with the finished result. You can also try different options to be sure you're happy.
You can also book a spray tan in line with your wedding dress fitting. Especially given that you know it won't leave a single mark on your dress! Your tan looks VERY different depending on the colour of outfit you're wearing, white especially!! So booking in before your dress fitting will give you that extra reassurance, that you've got the perfect colour.
THE WEDDING TAN
At With Sam Collective, we will never apply your final application of tan less than two days before the big day.
Make sure you plan all of your beauty treatments around your tan, so that it is the last thing to be done in terms of prep. There's a full breakdown included in your prep instructions.
Get your Bridal Party & Partner to be involved! Start the celebrations early and get everyone together, to come for your spray tan. You can make a group booking to allocate enough time for everyone at the same time slot.

How do I book an appointment?Head to the booking link here - BOOK APPOINTMENT
-
When should I book my tan?Due to the tanning solution I use, your tan should be booked for 2-3 days prior to when it is required. The solution will be developed in 8hrs, however it continues to develop and settle into your skin for a total of 48hrs after application.
-
How do I best prepare for my appointment? An extensive list of prep and maintenance instructions are available within your appointment confirmation email. Please make sure that your tan is the LAST beauty treatment. This prevents any unwanted damage to your tan pre and post development. Not sure of the order in when to have specific appointments? Read the prep bible which is included in the confirmation email sent when you book your appointment. If you haven't received this, check your junk mail.
-
Is there an age limit for booking a spray tan?Yes - due to insurance purposes, we do not provide spray tans for anyone under 18 years of age. I can highly recommend a gradual tan alternative for those under 18 - get in touch if you would like more information.
-
How long does a Spray Tan appointment take?It takes just 10 minutes for a full body spray tan! It’s super quick, hassle free and promises to create a flawless finish. However a full appointment will take 20-30 minutes, to allow for a consultation. You are able to get dressed straight after stepping out of the tent - so there's no waiting about.
-
What should I wear after my appointment?Covering and protecting your tan whilst in the development stage is very important. You should avoid skin to skin contact and avoid water/sweat on your skin. The best thing you can wear is dark loose clothing, with long sleeves and long trousers. Dresses and shorts are not advisable. Feel free to wear your pyjamas. No thin straps or socks afterwards either. In terms of footwear, trainers & boots are absolutely fine for the purpose of traveling home (especially if it's raining). If you opt for sandals, make sure they aren't going to leave any funky marks on your skin - think of the footwear you'll be wearing, when your tan has developed.
-
How long will the results of my tan last?Your tan will last between 7-10 days, if you follow the prep and maintenance guide. Your daily skincare regime and lifestyle will determine how your tan will fade. Just like a natural tan, a spray tan will fade as your skin sheds dead cells. The more you look after your tan, the longer you can expect it to last and the more even the fade will be.
